Ivan & Ange have a shared passion for the outdoors, & love living in the Northern Rivers. They’ll do just about anything to appreciate & explore nature, the wilderness & the elements. It’s their shared love of outdoor adventure that brought them together.
Ange
Ange is a Tassie girl, & grew up with a huge appreciation for nature. She worked on Marine Science projects around Australia & the Pacific for 20 years. She settled at the Farmstay with Ivan & their 2 boys in 2010 – and intends to stay forever. She loves the mix of farming & wildlife at the farm – and sharing the experience with friends & visitors. Her favourite activity on the farm is riding her trusty stock horse “Cody” while working with the cattle.
Ivan
Ivan is truly a Byron Bay local… his family have been here since 1881! Childhood was spent chasing the perfect wave. He spent 15 years working in Environmental Science & honing his adventure skills around Australia & NZ, before coming home to manage the family farm. His favourite activity is shredding the mountain bike trails on the farm (which he built!) – and he loves a good chat about anything “bike” or “adventure”. In fact, he just loves a good chat about anything at all!
